How Are Orders Submitted?
Orders can be placed via phone, email or on the website.Swatch requests may also be submitted via the website,
along with general inquiries regarding colors and product availability for initial planning stages of an event.
Replies are sent within 24 hours after an email submittal.
How Are Orders Confirmed?
Order Confirmations are sent once final selections and quantities have been processed. A credit card must be placed
on file for processing a 50% deposit. Confirmations require a signature of the party responsible for payment to Tailored Elements.
What Are Payment Terms?
Orders are held with a 50% charge on a credit card. Remaining balances are charged on the same card prior to
delivery. Damages are also applied to the card on file for the event. Net 30 terms are available to registered and
approved account professionals.
What If The Order Is Custom?
Custom Orders require final counts and a 50% deposit at the time orders are placed. Fabric availability is checked at
the time proposals are written. Fabric quantities are held with a deposit placed by the client responsible for payment.
Refunds and exchanges are not possible once orders are confirmed by signature and payment. We recommend
finalizing custom orders 6-8 weeks in advance of the event.
Can Orders Be Cancelled?
Order confirmations are placed no less that one week prior to an event and are considered final. Orders cancelled
after confirmation and prior to one week before the event, will be charged a 25% restocking fee. For Prepaid orders,
cancellations after confirmation will result as a forfeit of the 50% deposit.
What Does The Rental Fee Cover?
Rental fees cover the cost of renting the linens as well as the cost of washing and processing. Taxes are applied along with delivery fees and damage fees incurred during the rental period.
What Constitutes A Damaged Linen?
Damages are assessed after an order is returned to Tailored Elements. Linens are considered damaged and unusable
if there are wax stains; tears, cuts or burns; excessive soil or mildew. Normal food and wine stains are not considered damages. Replacement costs for damages are calculated as three times the rental fee of the item.
